Twenty three delegates of the Recoletos 400 caravan received a warm welcome from Archbishop Talamayan who also lodged them for an overnight stay in his archbishop’s palace. Healing mass was said in the archdiocesan cathedral of St. Peter and Paul in Tuguegarao, Cagayan on May 11, 2006 from 8:30 AM up to 11:30 AM attended by around 150 people who sought to be prayed over by the healing priest, Fr. Ferdinand Hernando, OAR. After a two-hour stay in Tuguegarao, the group headed northwards to Ilagan, Isabela where they were graciously accommodated for lunch at the Balay Isabelino by no other than the renowned national and international figure, Isabela Governor Grace Padaca. She was accompanied by Vice-Governor Monching Refes and Congressman Edwin Uy who happened to grace the 150th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of Isabela at the time when the pilgrim image of St. Ezekiel visited their place. Dr. Rosarita Mariano, President of the Diocesan Catholic Women’s League, mobilized her members in the Diocese of Ilagan to render their thoroughgoing support to this activity.

Majority of them were members of the Catholic Women’s League coming from the different parishes in the diocese. Gov. Grace Padaca brought with her some provincial officials and journalists to attend the healing mass in honor of St. Ezekiel Moreno despite their busy schedule in the provincial capitol.
Conferences on the history of the Order and the biography of St. Ezekiel in these two dioceses were all handled by Prof. Emmanuel Luis Romanillos.
